Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Personal Chef Finder at https://personalcheffinder.app, operated by PersonalChefApps, LLC. By using this site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Chef membership, billing, and the recipe and client workspace are provided by Cookday Recipe Manager (Cookday), a related service from the same company. Chefs who subscribe or create an account on Cookday also agree to Cookday’s Terms of Service.

The directory

Personal Chef Finder helps households discover personal chefs. Listings are provided by independent chefs. We do not employ chefs, book jobs, set prices, or guarantee availability, quality, or outcomes of any engagement between a diner and a chef.

Chef listings

Listing on Personal Chef Finder is included with an active Cookday subscription. Chefs are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles and for communications with prospective clients. Nothing appears on the map until the chef publishes. Chefs control publishing from the dashboard on this site after they have listing access through Cookday.

Billing, cancellation, refunds, and account deletion for membership are handled in Cookday (including Stripe Customer Portal from Cookday settings). See Cookday’s Terms for subscription details.

Messages and requests

Messages sent through a chef profile are between the diner and that chef. Area requests submitted when no chefs match are used so we can follow up and recruit chefs; they are not a booking or a paid lead purchase. You must provide accurate information and use the site lawfully.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the directory, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other users, submit spam, or upload unlawful content. We may hide listings or suspend access that violate these Terms.

Cookies

This site uses necessary cookies for chef sign-in and security, as described in our Cookie Policy. We do not use optional analytics or advertising cookies on this site.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and limit liability for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability related to this directory is limited to the amount you paid us for listing on this site in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars if you paid us nothing.
